The 2012 IEDLI Essential and Advanced Leadership Courses will be held in Leuven, Belgium between October 22 and 26. This year’s IEDLI event is special, as we will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of “The Club of Leuven,” a historic meeting of emergency medicine leaders which resulted in the founding of the European Society of Emergency Medicine.
IEDLI, The International Emergency Department Leadership Institute, was created by Harvard Medical School faculty in order to provide ED leaders with the skills and knowledge they need to successfully operate emergency departments in any part of the world. IEDLI 2012 is endorsed by EuSEM, and is organized in collaboration with University Hospitals Leuven in Belgium. For details on course content, scope, pricing, the city of Leuven, and course venue (located in UNESCO heritage site, the Grand Beguinage of Leuven) please visit the IEDLI website.
The Essential ED Leadership Course will take place between October 22 – 26, 2012 and the Advanced ED Leadership Course will take place between October 24 – 26, 2012.
